You can book an appointment for an initial assessment
I will call you for a brief chat about the issues concerning you and the impact they are having on you or your child.
At the initial assessment we will look into relevant medical history, medication etc. and will identify any goals you want to work towards.
The physical examination will be completed and we will talk through the findings, set goals and look through recommended activities to get you going.
A programme of activities will be drawn up after the appointment and will be emailed to you. Paper copies can be sent on request.

Physiotherapy is founded in science and is evidence-based and as such is trusted by the NHS. Physiotherapists have to be registered with the HCPC and cannot practice if they are not. My skills were developed and honed in the NHS and I am registered with the HCPC, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and several specialist interest groups (SIGs). I am also DBS checked,
If you are on benefits get in touch and we can look at payment options.
When a diagnosis is made Paediatricians try to set the scene for parents to manage their expectations for the future to avoid any unnecessary angst. Unfortunately the manner in which this information is given is sometimes harsh. Parents can be given the worst-case scenario without being told it's the worst-case scenario. Then as the child develops the neuro-plasticity of the developing brain means that they do have more potential to develop their motor skills than was originally thought.
Your child will be given a full assessment and we will discuss honestly their potential for change and to develop their gross motor skills. We will also discuss activities to bring about this change.
If no improvement is possible, this is rare, but in this instance Physio input will aimed at maintaining the child's current ability and preventing the development of deformities, scoliosis etc.
No, not at all.
We will need to look at your posture and your general biomechanics, but then you will be given the tools to make the changes necessary to relieve the pain.
I've heard this a lot- you can imagine. To everyone who has said this to me I've asked the same question: 'Did you follow your Physiotherapist's advice? None of them have. Honestly.
If you're serious about dealing with your pain and taking your life back get in touch and we'll make a start.
If you have any questions please get in touch.
